TERMS & CONDITIONS
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The general terms, booking conditions, and policies typical for Bayon Adventures (a registered tour operator in Cambodia providing private vintage Jeep tours, temple experiences, and custom journeys) include key structural requirements for tour reservations:
1. Booking & Payment
Confirmation: Reservations require advance confirmation. Bookings are officially confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or full payment, depending on the itinerary type (day tour vs. multi-day/custom journey).
Payment Methods: Transactions are typically handled in USD via secure online payment links, bank transfers, or accepted major credit cards.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Customer Cancellations:
Day Tours: Cancellations made 24 to 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure generally qualify for a full or partial refund (minus administrative/transaction fees). Cancellations made under 24 hours or “no-shows” are typically non-refundable.
Multi-Day & Tailor-Made Journeys: Strict tiered cancellation schedules apply (e.g., non-refundable deposits, increased retention fees closer to the departure date) due to third-party hotel and transport reservations.
Operator Cancellations: If Bayon Adventures cancels an activity due to extreme weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen force majeure events, guests are offered an alternative date or a full refund.
3. Travel Requirements & Passes
Angkor Pass: For all temple tours (e.g., Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Prohm), guests are responsible for acquiring a valid Angkor Enterprise Entry Pass (1-Day, 3-Day, or 7-Day) unless explicitly stated as included in a custom package.
Passports & Visas: Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond their entry date into Cambodia and satisfy all Cambodian visa entry requirements.
4. Health, Fitness & Safety
Physical Fitness: Outdoor activities (such as Jeep excursions or walking through temple grounds) require a basic level of mobility. Guests should notify the team of any pre-existing medical conditions or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
Guide Authority: Participants are expected to follow safety directions provided by the guide and driver, particularly during open-top vintage Jeep transfers or rural off-road segments.
5. Liability & Travel Insurance
Insurance: Guests are strongly advised to hold comprehensive personal travel and medical insurance covering accidental injury, emergency medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and lost baggage.
Limitation of Liability: Bayon Adventures accepts no liability for personal injuries, illness, loss or damage to personal belongings, or unexpected delays caused by road conditions, weather, or natural events.
